I understand, much like Michael Jackson, that in the hours and days preceding the death of a societal icon that our memories are blurred and selective in regards to their contribution and their inevitable faults. But let’s not ignore the fact that Ted Kennedy killed a woman and served no time, he was the product of privelege and nepotism and in exchange passed the privelege onto his son. That ultimately he was a life long politician.
